The couple has shelled out the cash on the property, where they will bring up new baby son Kingston.
They bought the home, which is just off Mulholland Drive, in Beverly Hills, from film producer Sam Nazarian.
He in turn bought the home from Jennifer Lopez for US$12.5m in 2004, the Wall Street Journal reports.
The 10,000sq-ft, four bedroom home was built in 1998.
It is an ultra-private location and is located in a top-security gated community.
The actual home is located at the end of a 250-ft driveway with its own gate in and out.
The two-acre property has a tennis court, with Rossdale is a keen player.
It also comes with a basketball court, a swimming pool and a screening room.
The home is 'designed for a celebrity' Nazarian told the Wall Street Journal.
