WWE Raw house show report
March 11, 2011
Springfield, Mo.
Report by Chad Plein of Springfield, Mo.

The event at the JQH Arena started with the Raw GM texting the ring announcer about the first bout - a 14-man battle royal with the winner facing Daniel Bryan for the U.S. Championship later in the night.

(1) Sheamus won a 14-man battle royal. In the order of elimination: Yoshi Tatsu, William Regal, Vladimir Kozlov, Evan Bourne, Ted DiBiase, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, Alex Riley, R-Truth, Santino Marella, Tyson Kidd, and Mason Ryan. Mark Henry thought he won, but Sheamus was playing opossum for much of the royal; he jumped in the ring and tossed Henry over. Sheamus vs. Bryan later for the U.S. Title.

(2) Divas champion Eve beat Nikki Bella (w/Brie Bella) to retain the Divas Title. The GM texted to start with a dance-off. After the Bellas danced, Eve started, but she was jumped by the twins. At the end, Brie tried to roll in the ring and replace a tired Nikki, but both Bellas fell out of the ring. Eve didn't know which was Nikki, so she got one twin in the ring. The Bella rolled up Eve for a quick two count, but Eve reversed the small package for the three count victory.

(3) R-Truth & Mark Henry beat Tyson Kidd & William Regal. The crowd was into this match thanks to Regal's heel work and R-Truth playing up the crowd. At the beginning, R-Truth had fun with the fans saying, they thought he didn't know what town he was in, "Green Bay!"

(4) Evan Bourne beat Ted DiBiase (w/Maryse). The two picked up where the battle royal left off, as Bourne eliminated both himself and DiBiase in the opening bout. A good back and forth match. Bourne hit the Shooting Star Press to get the win.

(5) Alex Riley beat Yoshi Tatsu. The two had a good match with Riley getting the win.

(6) Santino (w/Tamina) & Kozlov beat The Usos (Jimmy & Jey). Santino got a huge pop from the crowd. Hot tag to Kozlov, who put the Usos on the ropes, then Santino came in for the Cobra! Santino and Kozlov with the win.

(7) U.S. champion Daniel Bryan beat Sheamus to retain the U.S. Title. Sheamus was in control for much of the match. Bryan had some great technical near-pins. Sheamus got Bryan up for the Celtic Cross, Bryan rolled down Sheamus's back and into a schoolboy for the pin to retain the title.

(8) WWE champion The Miz beat Randy Orton and John Cena in a three-way match to retain the WWE Title. Cena and Orton double-teamed The Miz at the beginning. Eventually, Cena sold a big bump, laid on the concrete floor, and let Orton and Miz do some one-on-one. Orton was the next to sell, rolling out of the ring and letting Cena and Miz go at it. Cena dumped The Miz out of the ring, Orton seized the chance and gave Cena the RKO. Two count, though, as Miz pulled the ref out of the ring. Cena was out and Orton's attention was drawn to Mason Ryan, who ran to the ring. Mason attacked Orton and Miz popped back in for the Skull Crushing Finale for the win.

After the match, Cena and Orton eventually chased Miz and Mason from the ring. Cena raised Orton's arm, as if everything was okay between them. End of show.
