King Sheamus is apparently no more. Sheamus did an interview in Oklahoma City prior the WWE house show there claiming he is no longer King Sheamus. He explained that King Sheamus didn't win any matches, but the Celtic Warrior obviously did.

Reminder that Sheamus will challenge United States champion Daniel Bryan for the title, and if Sheamus is unsuccessful, he must "retire."

The King gimmick did not work for him at all.

This should only be good news.

Well aside from the fact he's blatantly winning the US title.

The King gimmick did not work for him at all.

Well... when they put him in a dress and made him lose every match, there really wasn't much chance for it to work.

It was such a waste though. They have him win the King of the Ring and instead of getting the push that usually goes along with that, he gets the complete opposite. It would have been a lot better if they gave it to someone like Morrison and actually pushed him.
