BY MMAJUNKIE.COM STAFF ON DEC 07, 2012 AT 12:20 PM ET
Paul McVeigh (130.7 pounds) and Brandon Hempleman (130.7) are on weight for Saturday's Cage Warriors 50 headliner, but today's weigh-ins didn't exactly go off without a hitch.
Five fighters missed weight during their first trips to the scale.
And one main-card fighter, former EliteXC champ and Bellator vet Wilson Reis, has surrendered 40 percent of his purse to opponent Owen Roddy after weighing 140.2 pounds for their bantamweight bout.
Saturday's Cage Warriors 50 event, which won't be geo-blocked in the U.K. or Ireland, streams live and free worldwide on MMAjunkie.com beginning at 4 p.m. ET/1 p.m. PT (9 p.m. GMT local time) from Kelvin Hall in Glasgow, Scotland.
Alex Davidson missed weight on his first attempt but made it on his second. Others, though, either agreed to a catchweight bout or were hit with a fine.
The fight card also saw a small change as preliminary-card fighter Rob McCrum (3-6) was forced off the lineup due to illness. His opponent, Alex Enlund (6-1), now fights replacement Ahsan Gilani (0-0).
