Saturday Morning Slam has joined the pantheon of wrestling shows this week by having more than one time slot. We are a half hour later, but that should not mean any change in the type of show we get to see every Saturday morning on the Vortexx.

This week we will see Sheamus in action. First, we have a Divas match.

Your announcers are Josh Mathews and Booker T.

Match Number One: Natalya versus Alicia Fox

Natalya offers her hand and Alicia accepts. Natalya with a waist lock and rollup. Natalya with a side head lock but Alicia with a top wrist lock into a side head lock and take down. Natalya with a head scissors but Alicia escapes and Natalya applauds the escape. Natalya with a side head lock take down and Alicia with a head scissors.

Natalya escapes and does a handspring. They lock up again and Natalya works on the wrist but Alicia with a reversal. Natalya with a reversal of her own followed by an arm drag. Natalya with a monkey flip but Alicia lands on her feet. Natalya swats away a drop kick attempt from Alicia.

Natalya tries to set up the Sharpshooter but Alicia gets to the ropes. Alicia with a head scissors take down and she gets a near fall. Alicia with a Northern Lights suplex and bridge for a near fall. Alicia with a body scissors on Natalya but Natalya turns Alicia around and tries for a slam but Alicia is able to shift her weight and gets a near fall with a lateral press.

Alicia returns to the body scissors. Natalya picks up Alicia again and applies a bear hug but Alicia with a sunset flip attempt. Natalya rolls through and applies the Sharpshooter and Alicia taps out.

Winner: Natalya

We go to commercial.

We are back with highlights of the opening match.

It is time to take a look at Sheamus in the Saturday Morning Spotlight.

He says that he comes from a long line of Celtic warriors who believe in honor and respect. He says that he does not have a bad temper. He is about having a good time. He says that he will make a New Year’s Resolution to become the World Champion again.

We see highlights of Sheamus’ work in 2012.

He says that he loves to fight.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Sheamus comes to the ring to talk to the crowd. He welcomes everyone to Saturday Morning Slam. When he grew up in Ireland, he loved watching WWE with his grandmother. He enjoyed watching Randy Savage, Bret Hart, and Shawn Michaels.

Move forward a few years and he is in this ring as a WWE Superstar. There is no greater feeling in the world. He says that he wants his World Title back. He is going to test himself against the biggest, strongest, and fastest Superstar the WWE has ever seen. That person was not available so bring out Michael McGillicutty.

Match Number Two: Sheamus versus Michael McGillicutty

They lock up and Sheamus with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. They lock up again and Sheamus with another side head lock and shoulder tackle. Sheamus blocks a hip toss and connects with a hip toss of his own. Michael goes to the floor to regroup.

Michael returns to the ring and he applies a side head lock. They criss cross and while Michael continues to run the ropes, Sheamus goes to the floor and has a seat at ringside and takes a drink. Michael continues to run the ropes and we go to commercial.

We are back and Michael is still running the ropes while Sheamus watches from ringside. Michael sees Sheamus on the floor and he collapses in the ropes. Sheamus comes to the ring and offers Michael some water. Michael takes a sip and then he realizes that Sheamus is making a joke out of this match.

Michael leaves the ring and hides behind the apron. Sheamus realizes what is happening and he goes around the ring and kicks Michael in the rear end. Michael with a drop kick and baseball slide that sends Sheamus to the floor. Michael sends Sheamus back into the ring and he hits a suplex and gets a near fall.

Michael with a waist lock but Sheamus stomps on the foot and he takes Michael to the mat with a hip lock take down. Sheamus kicks Michael in the back of the leg and after the second one, he flips like his father would. Sheamus with an airplane spin and Michael is so dizzy that he accidentally rolls up the referee and Sheamus makes the three count.

Michael thinks that he won the match and then Sheamus gets Michael up for White Noise and the three count.

Winner: Sheamus

We go to the Miz and he is with Natalya in the back. Natalya asks Miz about his match next week against Darren Young. Miz says that the Prime Time Players remind him of himself when he started. They are young and hungry and entertaining.

Titus blows his whistle and he enters the interview area with Darren Young. Titus calls a personal foul for making comparisons. Darren calls Miz played out. Titus says that Miz’ talk is cheap but when they talk you can take it to the bank.

Miz tells Darren and Titus to take their millions of dollars to Las Vegas and bet on him because he will beat Darren Young.
