In a separate statement on the company website, WWE has just announced that they have signed Henry O. Godwinn, 42, to a contract. Godwinn will be making his return to the company after an eight year absence.
Godwinn appeared on a swing of WWE shows last week in three tryout matches. He defeated Gregory Helms at a Smackdown brand house show, Eric Perez in a dark match prior to the 9/4 RAW, and Bull Buchanan before the 9/5 Smackdown taping.
