TNA’s lawsuit against WWE reportedly held up the signing of independent wrestler Rami Sebei aka El Generico.
According to sources, WWE was about to sign him in June and found out he had taken part in tryout matches with TNA back in 2011. Due to the lawsuit at the time and the new company policy of avoiding any kind of communication with TNA staff, they informed him they couldn’t move forward until the lawsuit was settled. Generico already started down in the NXT developmental territory on 2/4.
No word at this time what he his name will be in WWE.
