When the man formerly known as Skip Sheffield returned as Ryback, he immediately became a fan favorite. His catchphrase of “feed me more!” has surpassed that of Daniel Bryan’s “YES!” chants. However, after five straight months of pay-per-view losses, a Ryback heel turn may come sooner rather than later.
Most recently, one can see the frustration beginning to get to Ryback. After a loss at WWE Elimination Chamber 2013, Ryback gave a look to partners John Cena and Sheamus before leaving without them. Although he was not pinned a night later on Raw, it was the third match in which Ryback lost to The Shield.
According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE has been considering a heel turn for Ryback and it makes complete sense. Although WWE fans began to consider the notion, it is nice to see that WWE is seriously considering the idea. The fact that it could lead to a feud with John Cena makes even more sense.
Most WWE fans are expecting to see The Rock defend the WWE Championship in a singles match against Royal Rumble 2013 winner John Cena. It is also widely expected that John Cena will defeat The Rock to even their overall record against one another.
However, what happens after John Cena wins the title? Who challenges him next?
That same report stated that Vince McMahon is putting an end to the John Cena-CM Punk rivalry. This is good news as we have seen these two against one another more than enough. WWE seems to enjoy providing the same matches over and over again so it is nice to see them put an end to one of them.

What other main event heels are there to begin a feud with John Cena? Big Show, Brock Lesnar and Dolph Ziggler have all had previous feuds with Cena and really don’t make any sense to make a run for the WWE title.
The most intriguing situation is to turn Ryback heel and begin a feud with John Cena over the WWE title. Both superstars were involved in a triple threat match for the championship at this past year’s Survivor Series with CM Punk. That is when The Shield debuted and attacked Ryback. Punk eventually pinned Cena for the win.
A Ryback and John Cena feud would be a fresh feud that we have never seen before and gives WWE a new definition for monster heel. When one thinks of a monster heel in WWE, he or she may think of Mark Henry or Big Show. However, both superstars are nearing the ends of their careers, while Ryback’s is just beginning.
Ryback has a very different look than Mark Henry and Big Show as well. Many WWE fans have compared his look to former World Champion Bill Goldberg. This would make for a different kind of look in terms of a monster heel.
For anyone thinking that Ryback needs to improve on the mic to be a great heel, I ask you to think about Henry, Big Show and other past monster heels. These superstars not like CM Punk and Daniel Bryan who need to give longer promos. Monster heels don’t need to say a lot because their actions speak louder than their words.

Beware WWE superstars as a Ryback heel turn is coming and it may lead to his first World Championship reign.
Do you think a Ryback heel turn is coming? Would it be a good or bad thing? Please share your thoughts in the comment section below.

Honestly I think he's better as a face. If he turns heel he's just another 'unstoppable' monster that cena will beat
