The Hollywood Reporter -- Robert Redford is in negotiations to do his first comic book movie.
The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that the acting icon appears likely to close his deal with Marvel Studios and join the cast of Captain America: Winter Soldier, which will begin shooting May in locations around the U.S.

Joe and Anthony Russo are directing the movie, which continues the adventures of Steve Rogers/Captain America (Chris Evans) and will focus on his relationship with sidekick Bucky (Sebastian Stan), who in the comics returns as the brainwashed assassin Winter Soldier.
apcm:Sources say that Redford will be playing an older member of secret government agency S.H.I.E.L.D., and one source describes the role as similar to the one played by Ralph Fiennes as M s replacement in last year s James Bond movie Skyfall.
