Wedding Of The Century!' screams Woman's Day this week with Prince William and his sweetheart, Kate Middleton, on the cover. Never mind that there's no official wedding in the works - that's never stopped the wildly optimistic mags.
Wedding plans must be in place, according to the Day, because the pair left a London nightclub smiling and laughing together. People generally are in good spirits (or have been drinking good spirits) when they've been out till half three in the morning. But is it a tad presumptuous to imagine that there won't be one to top this? There are 94 years to go in the century after all.
Admittedly the pair do look incredibly happy in the accompanying pics, but I would too if I was 24 and loaded.
With the arrival of new son Sutton Pierce last week, hopefully there'll be a brief respite for us all in Britney and Kevin's plan to take over the earth with Federspawn.
Britney reportedly said the birth was a 'piece of cake.' Yes Britney - it tends to be when someone gives you a caesarean and you don't actually have to do any of the work yourself. Meanwhile, would anyone be surprised if she was already pregnant again?
"Brad and Ange speak to New Idea to put the record straight," claims the mag in this week's cover story. Actually, they spoke to Esquire and American CNN, and New Idea runs a story with the interviews mushed together.

But who cares when we get to see more pictures of Shiloh, the little girl who could in all likelihood be the Most Beautiful Baby In The World. Granted, Suri Cruise is cute, but this baby is in a whole different league.
Further on in the piece New Idea's 'Crystal Ball 2026' feature predicts what the offspring of the famous - including Suri and Shiloh - will look like in 20 years.
Some look more cyborg than human, and the New Idea has invented some very strange futures for some of them. Violet Affleck in prison? Kal-el Cage starting a new life as Bob the Plumber? Lourdes Ciccone Leon looking like Jennifer Lopez? This is weirder than when New Idea ran their fake Angelina and Brad photo shoot.
Eva Longoria (is anyone else over this woman?) says she'll turn down TV roles after Desperate Housewives ends, preferring to focus on film work. Don't count your chickens before they're hatched, lady. The cast of Friends had the same plan.
All three mags have Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson conveniently on holiday in Hawaii and hooking up at night while Kate, sans wedding ring, frolicked in the surf with toddler son Ryder by day. She is looking smoking hot in a striped bikini. If this is what love trouble can do for a girl's figure, then sign me up!

If you've just had a meal, you probably don't want to read about local dolly bird Vicky-Lee McIntyre's mastitis (eew!) in the Woman's Day or regard the funny white jumpsuit thing she's wearing. Her new son is a cutey though. I hope he can survive life being dubbed Axl-Jaymz.
Equally scary is the Utah woman with the world's longest fingernails. Fair play, her 27-year-old nails are freaky, but so is her hair. Bride of Frankenstein anyone?

"After Tom and Katie and Brad and Angelina, I had to find a way to top them all."
- Never one to do things by halves, P.Diddy is set to become a double daddy with his girlfriend expecting twins. Single births are so passe.
