Heidi Klum's Hawaiian vacation took a terrifying turn over the weekend when her family went swimming at the beach.
Her oldest son Henry, 7, and two nannies got sucked into a riptide Sunday and were saved with the help of Klum and her boyfriend Martin Kristen.
"We got pulled into the ocean by a big wave. Of course, as a mother, I was very scared for my child and everyone else in the water," Klum, 39, says in a statement. "Henry is a strong swimmer and was able to swim back to land. We were able to get everyone out safely."
The harrowing experience was captured in a series of pictures posted by Entertainment Tonight.
