WWE Snubs Mick Foley And Bob Backlund For Donald Trump, Updated List Of HOF Inductors

This year's one-hour WWE Hall of Fame special will air next Tuesday, April 9 at 10:00 p.m. ET on the USA Network. Dave Meltzer noted on last night's episode of Wrestling Observer Radio that only the inductions of Bruno Sammartino, Trish Stratus and Donald Trump would be televised.
Here is the updated 2013 Hall of Fame class and their inductors:

* Bruno Sammartino, inducted by Arnold Schwarzenegger

* Trish Stratus, inducted by Stephanie McMahon

* Donald Trump (TBA)

* Mick Foley, inducted by Terry Funk

* Bob Backlund, inducted by Maria Menounos

* Booker T, expected to be inducted by Stevie Ray

I really do not understand why they would not put Foley on the TV show. I would have chosen him over Trish, this must be political in some way.

It has been reported for days now. I would be very surprised if Trish gets on TV and not Mick but as I said, all this may be political for some reason.

I hope so, I honestly think he deserves it. What this guy has done for the WWE, especially during the Attitude Era and what he has done for wrestling in general over the years, he certainly deserves the recognition.
