Uriah Hall and Josh Samman made quick work of their opponents during the latest episode of The Ultimate Fighter, advancing to the semifinals Tuesday night.
Hall finished Bubba McDaniel with a knee-right jab combo that left the Team Jones fighter face down on the canvas. Samman earned his third finish of the show, defeating Jimmy Quinlan from Team Sonnen.
While both coaches - Jon Jones and Chael Sonnen - agreed on semifinal round matches, UFC president Dana White ignored their advice. Instead, it will be Hall vs. Dylan Andrews and Samman vs. Kelvin Gastelum next week, with the winners advancing to The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale.
