New United States Champion Crowned At RAW

As seen on RAW this week, Kofi Kingston defeated Antonio Cesaro to win the United States title.

We reported several weeks ago that Vince McMahon had soured on Cesaro over the past several months. This is also part of the reason he was snubbed at WrestleMania 29.

Cesaro is one of the best guys Wwe has right now. I was hoping this meant Cesaro would get a bigger push, but now I'm thinking they put the belt on Kofi so he can lose to to Fandango.

My opinion is that Vince gave Kofi the belt because he was impressed at his performance at WM (In the pre and post shows). It also helps that he's not high on Cesaro right now, which is very unfortunate because Cesaro was the one big name left off the card at this years Mania.
