Jake 'The Snake' Roberts was honored Wednesday night in Las Vegas at the Cauliflower Alley Club. Here are a few notes from the event.
* Jake Roberts thanked WWE for being there to help but admitted he wasn’t ready at the time to accept the help.
* Roberts said he had a great 37 yrs in the ring, and hope it pales in comparison to his next 20 yrs helping others with his problem.
* In 1997, Roberts called DDP and said “thank you for reinventing the DDT”. DDP says one of his biggest honors.
* Roberts actually lived with DDP in 1992. One night his snake got list in the house.
