Eddie Alvarez plans to take his current fight with Bellator through the legal system and is prepared to go to trial.

The two have been arguing whether a new proposed Bellator contract was the same when compared to the UFC's offer. A court shot down an injunction for Alvarez to compete at UFC 159.
Bellator CEO Bjorn Rebney and were Alvarez were spotted together at Bellator 95, but talk has stopped dramatically since early April.
Alvarez hasn't fought since completing his Bellator contract in October. He's been in this legal war with Bellator since the start of the year.
The former lightweight champion said he might have to take unsanctioned fights to keep paying the bills.
