Tonight interviewed Damien Sandow last week during the WWE tour in South Africa. During the tour, Randy Orton was attacked by a fan at a live event in Cape Town. After Orton had wrestled Big E Langston, a fan entered the ring and hit Orton with a low blow while Orton was on the turnbuckles posing for the fans. Orton's music stopped playing, and security dragged the fan out of the ring. You can check out a newly uploaded video of the attack above.
Tonight asked Sandow if the attack was real, or if the fan would pop up on WWE television soon.
"It is possible, but I can't confirm that," Sandow said. "I didn't know anything about it beforehand so I am totally in the dark. However, it is now at a stage where WWE as a company has to handle the legal aspects that come with such situations. All I know is this is just going to tighten our security from this point onwards."
Sandow also discussed life on the road with WWE and more, you can check out the full article here (http://www.iol.co.za/tonight/tv-radio/fan-faces-music-wrestlers-watch-backs-1.1559673).
