- The Rock will begin filming and starring in a pilot episode for a new comedy drama on HBO titled Ballers. It's being executive produced by Rock and Mark Wahlberg. The show is set to co-star actor Rob Corddry and focuses on several Miami-based athletes who are retired and active. The Rock plays a former all-pro running back.
- As noted, Bestia 666, son of Lucha star Damian 666 is at the WWE tryouts in Orlando this weekend. Rey Mysterio has reportedly been opening doors in WWE for Bestia.
