- Jim Ross has updated the Q&A section on jrsbarbq.com and was asked what is taking so long to get a deal signed between Sting and WWE. Ross replied:
"Obviously you haven't negotiated talent contracts in your day job but it's a process that generally takes longer than needed especially when legal gets involved along with upper management and creative. If it's meant to be it will happen."
- We noted before that award winning filmmaker and producer Matt Goldberg had signed a deal with WWE. We now know that he's signed to produce stop animation content for the company. Matt appeared on The Rack audio show (http://www.wildtalkradio.com/rocknsock/therack/therack021314.mp3) and talked about working with WWE:
“I have signed with the WWE to produce stop motion animation content for them; two of the videos have already debuted and my first one that I did for them just broke 100,000 views, which was the most of all the animated videos they have. So, that was really neat. They told me they put that on their YouTube homepage and I don’t want to go into more details; I’m not sure how much I can talk about right now.”
