JBL reaches deal with WWE to remain on Smackdown.

WrestlingObserver is reporting that JBL has reached a final deal with the WWE and will be remaining as commentator on Smackdown with Michael Cole instead of leaving at No Mercy as was planned.

He seems to be working well with Cole, i had my preservations to begin with but hopefully he can continue to get a good team flow going with Cole.

I am sorry to say, I got tired of his US gimmick in the end, just like I am of the King Booker one. Maybe they went to long, or they are just over doing it.

Even though he uses the US gimmick (lol part personal) as commentator, it gets a better reaction with Michael Cole.

Yeah. With a counterpart, JBL's gimmick has been kept in check. I'm actually glad he went over to commentating. He's really good.

BTW, I know this is off topic, but I really never liked Booker's new gimmick.

I prefer JBL as a wrestler.. because, he brought some stuff to the ring. He's good at announcing, but he can do promos and wrestle as a wrestler.
