The possibility of The Undertaker and Sting facing off in a "dream match" appear slim as the former WWE Champion may have already wrestled his last match.
Undertaker has been telling those close to him that although he doesn't completely rule out wrestling again, he does not expect to.
Wrestling Observer editor Dave Meltzer said recently on Wrestling Observer Radi, "The last we had heard, which was, I don't know what a month or two ago, it feels like a bit over a month ago, Undertaker was saying that he did not expect to ever wrestle again, but he didn't rule it out 100%, he just didn't expect it."
The publication last reported in June that The Undertaker was in bad shape after suffering multiple injuries in his WrestleMania 30 match with Brock Lesnar. Although he has been training in the gym, the possibility of a match next year at WrestleMania 31 in Santa Clara, California was "not looking good."
Sting has publicly lobbied for a match with The Deadman at the event. He said last week in an interview promoting WWE 2K15: "I've made it clear I'd love to have one last hurrah, one last big match hopefully. And of course I've been outspoken about Undertaker being the opponent. I know what happened at WrestleMania where Brock Lesnar broke his streak. I think, or at least I'm hoping, that Taker's still going to come back and that he's not done. If he's not done, and he would consider doing it, I'd love to work with him one time. I'd love to wrestle him one time before I call it quits."

There's not really a reason for him to wrestle again since they killed his winning streak. He's old and beat up he's better off quitting now.

Very true but Taker vs Sting is one match I would love to see.

The problem with that idea now is that they are both getting too old to put on a match that the fans want to see. These men are not in their prime anymore. Undertaker is badly beaten up, and while I think Sting is faring better, it doesn't seem like we would get a match deserving of the 'dream match' potential everyone seems to want. I wouldn't want to see this match happen, only to walk away disappointed in a less-than-stellar match. Why do you think Undertaker's 'Mania matches are full of spots? Simple, awe then with heart-stopping moments and everyone won't be thinking about any poor wrestling that might have happened. I love Undertaker, and I love Sting, but I only want to see it if both men can put on a good showing.

You have a point, especially the young fans, they might not enjoy it but being an old school fan for over 30 years, I would still want to :)
