Kurt Angle recently made inquiries to WWE about a return to the company, attempting to speak with Triple H, who reportedly blew him off. Angle apparently called Vince McMahon at this point, who told him that Triple H handles the talent decisions.

As a result, Triple H is said to be upset with Angle for what he feels was an attempt to go over his head.

Angle has noted in recent interviews that he would like to return to WWE, but also mentioned that he doesn't feel he can work a full-time schedule these days.

I really dont know if Angle would be worth it for WWE to invest in at this point so hhh might have the right idea.

Angle has been away for too long for him to be a big asset for Wwe. He'd be like RVD, he might get a pop but not really draw or be an important figure on the show.

Well he's never really been a draw anyway. Even at the height of his wwe career he still had Austin and Rock ahead of him and carrying the shows.

Exactly, and that's why HHH doesn't want to bring him back. He's more of a liability than an asset.

I guess if he was at the end of his career it might be worth it to bring him back in a limited farewell tour type role but in his head, regardless of how beat up he really is, he probably thinks he has 10 more years in him in a non touring situation.

Don't we already have enough part time guys on a farewell tour?

Not really. There arent a ton of new guys really making waves and the wwe produces 6 hours of live tv every single week. Cut out one stupid promo a week and you can fit in an Angle match.
