WWE Issues Apology For Angle on Last Night's Raw?

- WWE issued the following in regards to Big Show pulling down the Russian flag in the segment with Rusev and Lana on last night's RAW:

"We at WWE would like to apologize to the Russian people for the incident on Monday Night Raw that could have been construed as disrespect for their nation's flag."

I don't see any reason to apologize. Unless Putin himself is gonna declare war on the USA over it, then it's not a big deal. It was an angle. A story. A plot. I seem to remember the US flag getting knocked to the mat from Jack Swagger several weeks ago, nobody was apologizing to the USA over that. That is disrespecting our flag, on our own soil. Screw Russia and any Russians that have a problem with it.

If I were Russian, I would be more pissed they did not play the Russian anthem and only the US anthem at the last PPV before the match lol
