Tonight's preshow meet and greet features Hideo Itami, Bayley and The Lucha Dragons.
Jojo is our ring announcer and sung an amazing Nation Anthem.
We have a sold out Fenn Center tonight! NXT has always drawn well here in the Fort!
First Match: Enzo Amore and Collin Cassidy vs Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder. Winner: Amore and Cassidy. Good opening bout with some comedy elements mixed in with some excellent action. Crowd was really into this match. Nice way to open the show. No Carmella however.
Next is Baron Corbin vs Cutter: Winner: Baron Corbin: 3 minute squash. Boring enough that some ladies tried starting a "ring around the roseies" chant to win the title of worst chant at a live event ever!
Up next: NXT Womens Champ Charlotte for a promo segment.
Jojo asks Charlotte about her match at Takeover and puts Bayley over and talks smack to a heckler at ringside who dared to boo and talk smack to her. She says she is the Greatest Athlete male or female in NXT or on Smackdown on Friday nights and claims to be the most genetically gifted diva ever...she is asked what is next and says unless she wants to challenge Adrian Neville for his NXT Title it's obvious what her next challenge is and that crazy doesnt scare her an AJ Lee has what she was born to have....WOOOOOO..
Next up: The Vaudvillans vs The Mechanics. Vaudevillians win. Good tag action. A slower match than the opening tag match but good stuff. Very entertaining.
Next up Jack Cable vs Bull Dempsey
Winner: Jack Cable pulls the upset after getting dominated most of the match. Dempsey destroys him afterwards until refs make the save and that doesnt even save him. Dempsey with three flying headbutt splashes from the top turnbuckles. Post match was better than the match itself. Crowd was into the post match huge. Lots of "YES" chants for every flying squash from the top turnbuckle . Doc and refs check on Cable and crowd chants one more time...Bull returns and another yes chant breaks out. Bull teases another dive from the top but returns to the back. Good stuff.
Jojo promotes the WWE Network and Merch Stand before Intermission.
Up next is Dillinger comes to the ring and issues an open challenge to anyone in the back to a match. Challange is accepted by Hideo Itami.
Itami dominates early but Dillinger catches him and starts to domiate and starts talking trash while beating down Itomi. Itomi recovers and destroys Dillinger to score the win. Itomi is impressive live and it's safe to say he will not be in NXT long before he is on to the main roster. Excellent match.
Divas Action up next!
Tag Team: Dana Brooke and Carmella vs Alexa Bliss and Bayley
If I have said it once I will say it again, with the exception of AJ Lee, Paige and Natalya the NXT Divas are far superior to any of the other Divas on the Main Roster. Excellent Divas tag action. Bayley is amazing and Alexa Bliss gets better everytime we see her here. Carmella has also upped her game since her last appearance in Fort Pierce. The WWE Divas need to take lessons from their NXT counterparts because these ladies can bring it. Bayley scores the pinfall for the win.
Up next Sawyer Fulton vs Jason Jordan.
Ok match won by Jordan who gets destroyed by Bull Dempsey after the match. Dempsey is over huge here in Ft. Pierce. Three off the top turnbuckle splashes and the crowd chants YES and ONE MORE TIME before Bull obliges with a fourth. Bull is earning his money tonight!
Crowd breaks out a BULL chant as Jordan is helped out of the ring by the refs and medical team.
Next NXT House Show here in the Fort is November 15th. Norman Smiley comes out to a huge pop and whispers something to Jojo. Jojo announces Dempsey vs Jordan at the next show.
Main Event time: Non Title Match The Ascension vs Lucha Dragons. Crowd is 50/50 between the teams.
Good match. The Ascension dominates most of the match Not as good as their match at Takeover but a very entertaining Main Event. A "we want tables" chant breaks out at one point. Lucha Dragons come back with some sick lucha spots and win with the same finish from Takeover.
