Another item of note coming out of New Japan’s event the other day: Naofumi Yamamoto, who left the promotion several years ago to jump to WWE, where he was known as Yoshi Tatsu before his release earlier this year, returned during the event under his original name. He appeared during the main event and afterwards it was announced he would be facing AJ Styles in his return match on 11/8.
