WWE Changes Name Of TLC PPV

WWE has officially re-named this year's TLC pay-per-view to promote the Steel Stairs Match between Big Show and Erick Rowan. They are now billing it as Tables, Ladders, Chairs & Stairs .

Am I the only one that thinks they aren't even trying to generate matches for gimmick PPV's anymore? We have a Chairs match, and Tables match, a Ladder match, and now a Stairs match? They are literally splitting the elements of a TLC match apart for separate matches. Weak man, weak. I remember we used to have actual TLC matches that involved all those elements and more. They could put on hella good matches and now they are severely limiting the capacity to have a good match.

I think having a guaranteed TLC or Ladder match every year takes away the draw of it especially when you also have Money in the bank.

I also think having a stairs match is stupid, and what's the point of having a Ladder/TLC match with Ambrose and Wyatt without something hanging over the ring that's just a no dq match.
