TV Guide Says Finn Balor Is The Future Of WWE

TVGuide.com recently posted a new article discussing why NXT standout Finn Balor is the future of WWE. The article includes several clips from his career performing as Balor and under his name Prince Devitt; you can read the introduction and some excerpts from the column below:

Less than a year after signing with the WWE, it’s clear that Finn Bálor is destined to be the organization’s next big superstar. The Irish wrestler, who made a name for himself overseas as Prince Devitt, has become one of the biggest faces in NXT, all with barely saying a word. Instead, Bálor lets his natural charisma and hard-earned talent do the talking for him.

Bálor won New Japan’s Best of the Super Juniors Tournament – twice! And the second time, he was undefeated.
Bálor can be both a heel and a face and this is the exact kind of flexibility the WWE needs right now.

True for now, just I'm wary of small guys in WWE i.e., Daniel Bryanson, CM Punk, RVD, Brian Kendrick, cruiserweight meant something in WCW and maybe pre-Lesnar SSP... But they'll always argue is he "strong enough" to beat Batista or Ryback. Ziggler I think will be popular because people are bored of everyone else (maybe he's got the most charisma this year) but lasting power will there be a Best of Ziggler DVD? Yes but it's like all sports you have to look at who they're facing. Besides some pseudo-MTV meets Disney Channel world that WWE zapped itself into through FCC and WWF (Pandas) turmoil we're given this "I'm gonna kick your butt!" storyline that the only ones who know what's going on are fanfic writers... Not so much in the way of bending the rules to censorship that shows on FOX do on a normal basis, it's like they come up with some of the shows on a conference call the day before. Sorry to get off topic but with creative restraints in place, I wish him all the luck. Let's hope TVGuide is right.
