WWE’s website has posted a storyline update on Michael Cole, JBL and Booker T following Brock Lesnar’s attack on Monday’s RAW. They note that Cole requested to go home to be evaluated by his own doctors and has been diagnosed with a bulging disc at the C6/C67 level as well as severe neck, back and right shoulder pain. Cole did confirm he will be back on next week’s RAW and WWE’s website said he has met with lawyers about possible legal action against Lesnar.
WWE notes that JBL left RAW with some pain in his abdomen but “figured it wasn’t any more serious than anything he had experienced before.” However, they say JBL woke up in the middle of the night in excruciating pain and went to a local hospital where he was diagnosed with an abdominal wall tear. They report JBL underwent surgery on Tuesday but will be back for RAW. Finally, WWE’s storyline update adds that Booker T suffered contusions and general soreness, but no other injuries. He will also be on RAW.
