Last week, Samoa Joe debuted for NXT, confronting NXT Champion Kevin Owens. SHORTLY after, details regarding his contract emerged, with it being revealed it would be the first of its kind to allow unprecedented freedom for him as a performer. Tonight, ROH announced he'd be returning next month.
Samoa Joe will be performing at RoH on June 20, the night after the company's next pay-per-view. Samoa Joe took to Twitter after the announcement, NOTING that he told fans they were in for an exciting 2015.
It appears Joe's contract will keep him off of TV for other promotions outside of NXT, but he CONTINUES to work for the likes of AIW, ROH and others. This is somewhat like Rhyno's DEAL with NXT, only Samoa Joe has a merchandise deal as well.
Joe also spoke about his deal on Twitter, saying "Do yourself a favor, put away your preconceived notions of how you think BUSINESS is done and understand we are re-writing the book."
