‘Mr. Excitement’ himself John Laurinaitis was on hand with the WWE crew during the recent tour of Japan, and actually acted as head agent for each of the shows, including the ‘Beast in the East’ live WWE Network special. It was Big Johnny’s idea to put over the NXT Championship match between Kevin Owens and Finn Balor as an old school Japanese title fight, with the streamers being thrown and the traditional girls coming to the ring and giving both competitors flowers (which Owens promptly threw into the fans).
