The reasoning behind The Undertakers return at WWE's Battleground PPV last night is that WWE want people to keep watching their product and stay subscribed to the WWE Network. Of course with his return, a future match will be on the cards.
WWE report the latest subscriber number on July 30 and they want it to be as high as possible, which is understandable.
