Prior to the NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn show going on the air, Triple H addressed fans in attendance, and thanked them for being there. Also, he made an attempt to ask the crowd to be dead silent during the show's intro.
Triple H requested the silence so that the introduction of the program would give the illusion that he was in the arena alone. Triple H noted that backstage workers told him it couldn't be done, but he trusted the fans.
Clearly, things didn't end up working the way that he wanted. There were several hecklers in the crowd, with some even chanting "Chris Benoit" at Triple H. A fan noted on Reddit that it was loud enough for Triple H to notice and say, "that's not funny, be quiet."
