A fan jumped the guard rail and hit the ring while Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose were staring down The Wyatt Family, prior to Chris Jericho being introduced as their mystery partner.
The fan ended up being taken down and out of the ring by security, Jericho came out as planned, and the match went on -- as did the remainder of the show -- without any additional interference from the fan, or other fans.
As this is the second time in recent weeks that WWE has had a fan jump the rail, coincidentally enough during Ambrose matches in both cases, WWE issued the following statement:
"WWE takes the safety of our performers very seriously and any fan entering the ring area will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law."
