- Women's MMA fighter Shayna Baszler, a friend of Ronda Rousey's, recently made her professional wrestling debut with Quintessential Pro Wrestling in Reno over the weekend. She wrestled Cheerleader Melissa in front of around 130 fans.
– Johnny Gargano mentioned on Facebook that he's issued a challenge to Ethan Page for the October 17th EVOLVE 49 iPPV. The challenge is that the match between the two would be in an “I Quit Match” and Gargano said if he quits, he will leave WWN Live.
This has led to speculation that Gargano will be leaving to sign with WWE full-time. He's been working in NXT on a per-appearance deal and has gotten great reviews for his work thus far.
