Don’t be surprised to see a couple returning wrestlers on Monday’s episode of Raw, which is currently being re-written after Seth Rollins got injured in Dublin. Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Live that with Randy Orton out with a shoulder injury, and Seth Rollins out with a torn ACL, WWE feels they have issues with talent depth in the championship picture right now.

Brock Lesnar and John Cena were previously scheduled to return in December, but WWE is reportedly trying to call them in for Monday’s show as a solution to their talent depth problem. The way Lesnar’s contract is set up, WWE will likely have to negotiate an extra appearance fee for the former UFC champ since he’s only obligated to work certain dates. Meanwhile, Cena is reportedly working on a TV show right now and his filming schedule may not allow him to appear at Raw.

Rollins was originally planned to be in the title picture through WrestleMania, but WWE has already confirmed they will hold a tournament at Survivor Series to crown a new champion.

Would be a great time to pull the trigger on Daniel Bryan's return. Now would be a good opportunity to put ambrose in the main event picture, but then again we'll probably get the same old crap. Cena, Reigns, and so on.

Well no friggin' crap! You refuse to push ANY of the talent you have on your roster with the exception of Rollins and Reigns and the oft-chosen John Cena and you feel you have lack of talent depth? Really!?

WWE cannot pull their heads out of their asses long enough to realize the stars of old are just that, OLD! Guys like Orton are winding their careers down and wanting reduced schedules. Guys like John Cena are taking some time off from the hard schedule and filming a show. Rollins blows out his knee from working a goddamn live event! The schedules are too grueling but that is besides the point.

The absolute refusal to push anyone who isn't a clone of Triple H and stars of old or a monster like Lesnar is killing the business. Talent is everywhere you look in that locker room. The problem is that they cannot get out of the rut of thinking that only a gladiator could possibly carry the WWE World title. Rollins was hand-picked to hold the title as the top heel so they are willing to overlook his size. No surprise that the only other names considered to be Champion are Reigns, Cena, and Lesnar. Let's face reality here, people, the days of 'roid use are over. You get guys that look more like Shawn Michaels and can work their asses off for an hour straight than guys that look like Luger and pull off fifteen-minute power move matches.

Times have changed and Vince's old-school mindset cannot push the company to new heights. Triple H is doing a great job taking the talent he has in NXT and pushing them to their best and utilizing them well regardless of their size and build. The sooner the utilization of talent NXT uses is brought to the WWE's main shows the better. Sadly I don't think this will happen for some time.

They have a lot of workers they can push for a run. Ziggler & Owens are two..I agree, they need to find others besides leaning on Cena, Taker, and Lesnar. They have wasted so much time on pushing those guys for so long, it's tiring.
