Recently, Hulk Hogan talked with Radio Yorkshire to discuss his upcoming Sheffield Arena show on November 14, 2015. Hogan shared his thoughts on some of his most iconic WrestleMania moments, namely, his matches with the Ultimate Warrior, 'Macho Man' Randy Savage, and the Rock.
Hogan talked about main eventing WrestleMania 5 against Savage as the Mega Powers exploded and WrestleMania 6 with the Ultimate Warrior in the Ultimate Challenge.
"I mean, the timing was there for the Warrior. He was over, like, oh my God, he was over so well. The timing was perfect for that [match] and the timing with Randy [Savage] was always perfect. Randy was 'Macho Man' 24/7. He was always on fire, so I was just grateful to be there. Things just kept falling into place, these big matches, one after another. They all were important. They all made sense. The timing was great."
Hogan expanded on Savage's legendary intensity saying that Savage could get a bit unpredictable in the squared circle.
"[Savage] was really intense. He could get a little bit crazy out there, but you knew you were going to get the best out of this guy. And as soon as he hit that ring, man, and he was schizoid-crazy 'Macho Man' and the people got with it and he always delivered. He was great."
As for facing off against the Rock as 'Hollywood' Hulk Hogan in WrestleMania 18's Icon vs. Icon match, Hogan said it was one of his most cherished memories.
"Timing, electricity, the perfect storm once again. The people were glad to see me come back to the WWE and they loved the nWo thing, so it was like, the momentum was just snowballing, so that was great. That whole thing with the Rock was electric. It was one of my favorite moments ever."
