– Tonight’s WWE SmackDown and Main Event tapings take place from Indianapolis, IN at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse. The top advertised match for SmackDown is Alberto Del Rio defending the US title against Jack Swagger. The dark match main event will see Reigns, Ambrose & Kane vs. The Wyatt Family in a six-man tag match. Check back tonight for live coverage.

– Jim Ross is interested in calling some more big time wrestling shows. After doing commentary for NJPW’s Wrestle Kingdom 9 earlier this year, JR says he’d like to call Ring of Honor’s upcoming anniversary show involving New Japan talent. He wrote at JRsBarBQ.com:

“Hey, if Kevin Kelly and Steve Corino need a ‘third wheel’ in Las Vegas at the announce desk for the February ROH-NJPW PPV, I’d make myself readily available. Just throwing it out there as that should be a helluva wrestling event.”

– A fan on Twitter was talking trash to Baron Corbin, noting that his WWE 2K16 character is just as worthless as he is in real life. Corbin responded:

@AlecRPar yet I am in the game and you are sitting on your moms couch playing ha.

– Comedian Ron Funches, a huge wrestling fan, trying to make sense of the Alberto Del Rio’s MexAmerica gimmick:

One of the storylines in WWE is that an old man has found tolerance and his old hick buddy won't accept it, and that guy is the good guy!
