According to the Wrestling Observer, the WWE locker room was very supportive of Roman Reigns winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
There have been instances of jealousy in the past when certain performers were earmarked for main events and shot to the top, but Reigns is well liked and respectful to everybody back stage. There was genuine excitement behind the scenes when Roman finally had his ‘moment’ on RAW last week and the acceptance says a lot in terms of how Reigns is perceived backstage.
As the WWE Champion, he does have to be a locker room leader to a degree and so far he’s off to a good start.
