WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross has updated his blog, which you can read in its entirety at JRsBarBQ.com. In this installment, JR talked about his new role as the play-by-play announcer for New Japan Pro Wrestling on AXS TV and gave his thoughts about Monday’s episode of WWE RAW.
With the Royal Rumble just days away, JR gave his prediction for who will walk out as WWE World Heavyweight champion. JR appears to be on board with the prevailing sentiment that Triple H will be involved in the finish:
“Roman Reigns is improving in virtually every phase of his game which is not to say that he’s a ‘made man’ just yet but he took a cold match vs Rusev and made the audience apparently care. Reigns needs to talk in sound bytes and NOT the long, filibuster type monologs IMO. I expect Reigns to win the Rumble and/or to get through the hellfire and brimstone only to figuratively get bit in the backside by the 31st entry in the Rumble match which might be HHH.“
