This is getting ridiculous, as yet another top WWE Superstar is injured. League of Nations member Alberto Del Rio is dealing with pain in his lower back, according to a report at PWInsider.

Del Rio dropped the United States Championship to Kalisto at the Royal Rumble but did not wrestle at at this week’s RAW or SmackDown tapings. He is still advertised for this weekend’s live events from Chattanooga, Tennessee and Tupelo, Mississippi, but those cards are subject to change.

It’s unknown this time if he’ll miss any ring time beyond taking a few days off this week, but we’ll know Saturday night if he wrestled at his next scheduled date.

When will they realize that enough is enough? The WWE needs to drastically cut back on the schedules that the wrestlers undertake. This schedule is too grueling for the majority of wrestlers whom are in their thirties and cannot recover as quickly as those in their early twenties. How many of the established stars must go down before Vinnie Mac realizes there is nobody in a realistic position to take the reigns and be top billing. Due to their poor booking of the majority of the roster, every single time somebody gets hurt in a very small group of established threats to the World title the WWE is left scrambling to find someone too look credible in a short period of time. It's a joke, really. This is a blatant example of the WWE's arrogance in thinking that nothing they do is wrong and that they know better than everyone else. The company is failing to establish a credible threat in the majority of it's athletes because they just plain do not care about them.
