– ECW original Tommy Dreamer recently claimed that ECW was partly to blame for a “decline” in actual wrestling. In an interview with Total Wrestling Magazine, Dreamer discussed ECW and what it inspired.
“I think ECW spurred a lot of garbage wrestling,” Dreamer admitted. “Guys would look at myself and Sandman and think that they could put on a T-Shirt and sweatpants and call themselves a wrestler. There’s a lot more to it.”
– It looks like Chris Jericho may remain on WWE TV for at least two more months. Jericho is being advertised for the April 12th SmackDown taping in San Diego, CA. The pre-sale code for tickets is WWESMD. Other wrestlers advertised to appear include Bray Wyatt, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns.
