As noted, WWE has reportedly decided to drop the name “Divas” and rebrand their female division as simple the Women’s division. The official announcement will come on Monday’s RAW, which takes place at the American Airlines Center in Dallas. We’ll have live coverage of RAW right here on Monday night.
Squared Sirens reports that a former women’s champion will be doing the honors of unveiling the new belt on Monday. Lita, Molly Holly and Madusa are all in Dallas for WrestleMania weekend, so it’s possible any number of them could be at RAW for the unveiling.
WWE has already created their new WWE Women’s Championship Belt, and will be retiring the current Divas Title introduced in 2008. It will reportedly resemble the gold WWE World Heavyweight Title more than the current purple Divas title
