Ricochet recently took to social media to put an end to the speculation that he will be taking part in WWE's first-ever Global Cruiserweight Series tournament.
As noted, WWE will be holding the Global Cruiserweight Series tourney across ten weeks on the WWE Network this summer. According to Ricochet, however, he will be busy in Japan winning the "Best Of The Super Juniors" tournament.
"Okay, guys listen. I will NOT be in the Global Cruiserweight Tournament," wrote Ricochet. "One reason, I'll be in Japan winning BOSJ. Again."
Thus far, WWE has confirmed the following talent for the Global Cruiserweight Series:
•Rich Swann
•Tomasso Ciampa
•Johnny Gargano
•Zack Sabre Jr
•Noam Dar
•Ho Ho Lun
•Akira Tozawa
