After last week’s “Black Friday” firing spree, the word going around was that more releases were on the way. Since then, the Brooklyn Brawler’s 30-year run with WWE ended, Christian’s in-ring performer contract was terminated and Adam Rose has been suspended indefinitely.
As per this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it’s believed Lilian Garcia is on her way out of the company as well.
Regarding the rumors that even more releases are coming soon, PWInsider reports that the next wave of releases are expected to take place after next weekend’s Extreme Rules event.
As was the case with Damien Sandow, most of the releases are being done to make way for new signings. Vince McMahon noted during this week’s earnings call that WWE will have their largest roster ever in the next month or so.
