AJ Styles is reportedly working through several injuries right now. According to PWInsider.com, WWE made the decision not to have Styles wrestle at Tuesday’s SmackDown taping out of concern for his health.
The Phenomenal One is booked in the main event of Extreme Rues on May 22nd, and WWE officials reportedly want him healthy and rested for his main event match against Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Title. PWInsider says Styles is currently suffering from numerous nagging injuries that the company wants him to heal up from before the pay-per-view.
Styles has been on the road heavily with WWE since his debut back in January.
