We’ve got new information regarding an incident involving Paige and Las Vegas police last night after WWE’s Money in the Bank pay-per-view. After investigating the situation and receiving a tip from a reader close to the situation, here’s what we know:
This was not a segment for Total Divas and there was no camera crew present. Paige and Alberto Del Rio were arguing outside of Cesar’s Palace hotel & casino. Paige tried to run across the street on Flamingo and Las Vegas Blvd. Police were present, apprehended Paige and handcuffed her. She was then sent to a local medical facility (either UMC or Sunrise Hospital) for a “mental evaluation” (often referred to as “Legal 2000”), which allows authorities to detain someone who may be a danger to themselves or others. She was not arrested.
In another strange turn of events, WWE has announced that Paige will challenge Charlotte for the WWE Women’s Championship tonight on RAW.
