– The dark match prior to Wednesday’s NXT TV tapings at Full Sail saw Oney Lorcan defeat Tino Sabbatelli.
– Cruiserweight Classic competitors Kota Ibushi and Sean Maluta worked last night’s NXT TV tapings for the 8/3 and 8/10 episodes. Ibushi faced Murphy for the 8/3 episode while Maluta faced Hideo Itami for the 8/10 episode. That will also be Itami’s return to NXT TV.
