Tough Enough runner up Zamariah “ZZ” Loupe was released from WWE last week, as first reported by Pro Wrestling Sheet. He has since confirmed the departure, issuing a statement on Instagram about his run with the company.
Loupe began training at the WWE Performance Center last September, but was injured shortly after and missed over a month of training. He made his NXT debut back in March.
Loupe is optimistic that he’ll be back in WWE one day and touted his undefeated record in NXT in this statement posted on Instagram over the weekend:
