WWE announced on Monday that former NFL player Brennan Williams has signed with the company. He’ll be reporting WWE’s Performance Center in Orlando today to begin training.
Williams has been training under WWE Hall of Famer Booker T since October 2015, wrestling as Marcellus Black for Booker’s Houston-based Reality of Wrestling promotion. In addition to the athletic prowess he’s shown on the gridiron and in the ring, the six-foot-seven, 300-pounder holds a black belt in taekwondo.
Booker T broke the news on Instagram last month that Williams was WWE bound.
