Former UFC champion Renan Barao is expected to return to action this September against Phillipe Nover.
A report by UOL out of Brazil states that Barao and Nover will be part of the UFC Fight Night 95 event from Brasilia on September 24. The main card is scheduled to air on FOX Sports 1.
Barao (33-4) decided to move from bantamweight to featherweight after losing the belt and a subsequent rematch to T.J. Dillashaw. His debut there was a difficult one, as he lost to Jeremy Stephens, falling to 8-3 inside the Octagon.
Nover (11-6-1) is in his second UFC stint and is just 1-4 overall with the promotion. He is a veteran of The Ultimate Fighter.
